The Debian package for Insight has been criticized as &#8220;insane&#8221; and unmaintained, and I&#8217;m curious: Has anyone here used it in recent releases of Fedora or OpenSuse?<\/li>\n<li>Autodesk founder <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fourmilab.ch\/\">John Walker<\/a> has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fourmilab.ch\/webtools\/greasemonkey\/\">an interesting free Web toy for Greasemonkey<\/a>, which attempts to spot &#8220;media trigger words&#8221; and alert you when weaselspeak is being attempted. (Thanks to Jason Kaczor for the tipoff.)<\/li>\n<li>Oh, no! It&#8217;s the Pluto Effect for dinosaurs! <a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/5601514\/the-triceratops-never-existed-it-was-actually-a-young-version-of-another-dinosaur\">Triceratops is actually an immature Torosaurus!<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Man, turn your head for ten minutes and there&#8217;s a whole new kind of punk out there. But this one I may actually like: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.darkroastedblend.com\/2008\/12\/dieselpunk.html\">Dieselpunk<\/a>. Think Art Deco urban fantasy, with the cultural clock set at 1920-1945. This might include the first Indiana Jones movie, and certainly one of my personal favorites, <em>The Rocketeer<\/em>. Lessee, we still need Musketpunk, for gritty urban fantasy in 1780 Philadelphia. Ben Franklin with tattoos. Could work, no?<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t be drinkin&#8217; Diet Mountain Dew while reading <a href=\"http:\/\/awkwardfamilyphotos.com\/\">this site<\/a>. Trust me.<\/li>\n<li>There is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.happynews.com\/index.aspx\">an entire news site devoted to good news<\/a>. Perky people like me and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Flo_(Progressive_Insurance)\">Flo<\/a> read it every day now.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2010\/07\/22\/fashion\/22date.html\">Sheesh<\/a>. What&#8217;s wrong with &#8220;Hi! Is this seat taken?&#8221; (Wait, no, that was the 70s. And purely analog.)<\/li>\n<li>I don&#8217;t think I posted <a href=\"http:\/\/badvestments.blogspot.com\/2010\/04\/404-error.html\">a link to this<\/a> back in April, but I should have. There&#8217;s a rectangle of this identical cloth hanging on my workshop wall as framed art.
