(Alas, none of the alloys contain ytterbium.) <a href= \"http:\/\/www.superconductors.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">The larger site<\/a> is a good resource for superconductivity freaks.<\/li>\n<li>Frank Glover pointed me to something I wouldn&#8217;t have expected: <a href= \"http:\/\/arstechnica.co.uk\/science\/2015\/06\/airbus-unveils-adeline-its-clever-answer-to-spacexs-reusable-rockets\/\" target=\"_blank\">an Airbus recoverable orbital cargo module that flies back to ground with&#8230;propellers<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Esther Schindler sends a link to an article graphing <a href= \"http:\/\/www.randalolson.com\/2015\/06\/15\/144-years-of-marriage-and-divorce-in-1-chart\/\" target=\"_blank\">144 years of stats on American marriage and divorce<\/a>. Marriage rates are now the lowest they&#8217;ve been in recorded history.<\/li>\n<li><a href= \"http:\/\/www.rationaloptimist.com\/blog\/cholesterol-is-not-bad-for-you.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Matt Ridley absolutely shreds the 60-year-old war on fat and cholesterol<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s possible (not easy, but possible) <a href= \"http:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/how-to-turn-your-windows-10-upgrade-into-an-iso\/\" target=\"_blank\">to turn your Windows 10 upgrade to a bootable ISO<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Roy Tellason has <a href=\"http:\/\/rtellason.com\/tubes.html\" target=\"_blank\">a marvelous index to nearly all useful vacuum tubes<\/a>, with basing, filment voltage and current, description, and uses. Applications are due by July 3, so if you&#8217;re a student or know one, the time to act is now.<\/li>\n<li>A big sorry-you-insufferable-idiots goes out to our snooty urban elite: <a href= \"http:\/\/www.newgeography.com\/content\/004947-malls-aren-t-dying-they-re-thriving\" target=\"_blank\">Both malls and suburbs are doing fine, and in some places are roaring back<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href= \"http:\/\/www.blastr.com\/2015-1-14\/robert-kinoshita-designer-forbidden-planets-robby-robot-dies-100\" target=\"_blank\">One man designed Tobor the Great, Robbie the Robot, and the Lost in Space robot, and he lived to be 100<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>More robots: Among the least-appreciated funny robots in film history are the one-eyed robotic lawnmowers that chase Jerry Lewis around in the mayhem-filled action climax of his 1962 film <em>It&#8217;s Only Money<\/em>. <a href= \"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DlOMymMXsNE\" target= \"_blank\">Here&#8217;s the original trailer<\/a>. Watch it to the end, where the lawnmowers steal the scene even from Lewis.<\/li>\n<li><a href= \"http:\/\/www.website-ontwerp-blog.nl\/you-be-inspired-bad-ass-presidential-portraits-by-jason-heuser\/\" target=\"_blank\">Presidential portraits from another universe<\/a> by artist Jason Heuser.
